I know it may be a bit early for him, but he won't be here when I pick next, and he rounds out my starting 5 perfectly.  Gives Minny a very very good defensive squad and a balanced scoring team.

PG:Jameer Nelson
SG: Tayshaun Prince
SF:Paul Pierce
PF: Rashard Lewis
C: Joakim Noah

My take:  I love Rashard, but I like him best as a SF.  Right now, in my eyes you still have three small forwards, and your PG is a guy who is better in a half-court offense, rather than a transition one.

I love your shooters, but I think a lineup built around shooters is very flawed without the dominant offensive big man (i.e., Howard, etc.) to build around.  In Orlando, for instance, most teams double team Howard, leaving one of their great shooters open.  In Minnesota, teams will be able to single cover all of your guys.

That said, kudos to you, because I'm judging your team as a flawed almost-contender, rather than as a bottom of the barrel lottery team.  You've pulled off a heck of a turnaround.

Paul Pierce is the only player who can create offense on the Wolves, I don't think he can do so anymore and maintain his current efficiency. Prince can pick up some of the the responsibility but I don't like having those two as shot creators for a team that's trying to win now.

Jameer and I respectfully disagree

I don't think Ibaka is much of a stretch at all, I like the pick.

Jameer is many things, he's not a shot creator off the dribble. Orlando has always used Hedo in that role primarily for a reason.

That's a good three man rotation down low.

I have the exact same critique as Roy.  Shooters, yes.  Anybody to free up those shooters?  Eh, not really besides Pierce.  If I play you (in general, not just my team), I'm guarding everybody tight 1 on 1 and forcing Pierce to score 40 in order to beat me.  The team is solid, while not spectacular, defensively.

I'm not sure if I really like this "turnaround"... Minny could have had 2 decent young building blocks, then another with the first round pick.  Instead, is this team that I don't think will contend for a title and is paying just those 5 players over $55M.  Not to mention they are all signed up for multiple years, with raises, including Noah's $7M raise, and all of them are either plateauing or on the downhill slope of their careers.  Can that market support this franchise?

MIlwaukee selects Serge Ibaka

Your team is definitely going to disrupt shots.

Another thing that I really considered here is that Ibaka has a solid 15 ft jump shot. Spacing is tres important.

Very interesting pick here.  Great value pick.  Interesting to think how it would fit.  Ibaka off the bench or Smith starts at 3?  This team would be a FORCE on the boards and in the paint defensively if Smith started at the 3.  Ibaka definitely can shoot (certainly showed that the game OKC beat us), but still interesting to think of what kind of offense this team would run

Haha, i gave 0 consideration to salary.  Its not in my genetic makeup to build young.  Call me Al Davis Jr.  "Just win baby."

EDIT: and for the record, I don't see love or Beasley being on a chmpionship team any time soon.  Neither play enough defense

Smith is hitting 37% from deep this season. Right now, as it sits, I'd be starting Smith at the 3..but that's only because I have 4 total players.
