With the sixth pick, the Indiana Pacers select Marcus Camby

Great pick especially after picking up an extra second rounder for Hibbert

Once again, no Action in front of me.

TheWiz select their starting SF,

Jeff Green

I like Green as a PF not as a SF.  He is most effective in matchups where he is quicker than other big PF's.  Alot of his effectiveness is mitigated by playing at the SF position.

I think he is held back being a PF.  He doesn't defend there as well as he does at SF.  He doesn't rebound enough.

I think he will make the perfect glue guy at SF.  Able to defend and work off the main scorers (Wall and Bosh)

I think he's too small to play PF for a good team.  He'll never be able to guard the elite big 4's (Bosh, Pau, Griffin) going forward.  I think his ceiling is a Lamar Odom.  A good player, but a starting 4 on any championship team?  I'd rather have him as my 3.  He unfortunately defines the term "tweener"

I know it may be a bit early for him, but he won't be here when I pick next, and he rounds out my starting 5 perfectly.  Gives Minny a very very good defensive squad and a balanced scoring team.

PG:Jameer Nelson
SG: Tayshaun Prince
SF:Paul Pierce
PF: Rashard Lewis
C: Joakim Noah

My take:  I love Rashard, but I like him best as a SF.  Right now, in my eyes you still have three small forwards, and your PG is a guy who is better in a half-court offense, rather than a transition one.

I love your shooters, but I think a lineup built around shooters is very flawed without the dominant offensive big man (i.e., Howard, etc.) to build around.  In Orlando, for instance, most teams double team Howard, leaving one of their great shooters open.  In Minnesota, teams will be able to single cover all of your guys.

That said, kudos to you, because I'm judging your team as a flawed almost-contender, rather than as a bottom of the barrel lottery team.  You've pulled off a heck of a turnaround.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
2(10) on the block, I might not be around to make the pick so selling it sounds good to me. Make me an offer!
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I think his plan is to rotate Camby and Bynum as starting center while the other one is injured.

I'm not crazy about having 2 very injury prone front court players with the first 2 round picks.

I'm going to reach here, but I'm changing Milwaukee's slow poke dynamic.

I am not sure. It depends on what PFs are available later in the draft. We'll see.

I am comfortable with Camby at the four. He did a very good job there while with the Clippers alongside Kaman. Plus he plays in the high post most of the time anyway so he won't get in Bynum's way.

I am hoping to use him as a combo big off the bench though. Sixth man type.

Let him anchor the defense while Bynum rests + give him some minutes alongside the big fella. Hopefully play around 30 minutes a night off the bench. That would be my first choice.
