  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!
Even with the risk of losing Felton i still think hes absolutely replasable. And players like Ray are simply imposible to reach outside round one.

With a foundation of Ray, Gallo and Stoudemire
NY is now better than the real knicks

p.s. Thank you for the pick FAF

Interesting.  Does that give Minnesota three small forwards?  I assume there will be other trades on the way.

I was kind of digging the inside / outside rebounding combo of Love and Noah, and was the only reason I was buying into the Noah pick even a little.  That said, I can't fault anybody for wanting the Captain.

EDIT:  The other shoe drops with Beasley for Jameer.  The Fake Twolves have definitely improved their position.

Trades:

2)
Washington Sends: JaVale McGee
Memphis Sends: 2nd round pick

I'm not sure what I think of this.  I'd like to think that Washington could have gotten more value for one of its keepers than a mid-second, but maybe that's just not the case.  It's probably fair value, with the only question on whether Washington could have gotten more value for a better keeper, or whether Memphis could have gotten McGee later.  It's a toss up.

It's a fair critique. I knew I wanted an athlete at the 4 to help Gasol I initially targeted Josh Smith, but I knew that would never happen. I liked JaVale's upside and knew I wanted him and not Blatche. I wasn't sure he'd be there at the Mid 2nd so I thought either he wouldn't and I'd get the player I wanted or he would be and I gave up nothing to assure that I'd get him.

As for WW's comment, We view Javale as a staring 4 on this team.

... and the Magic improved, I have to say ... a foundation of:

Howard: 22.3 PTs, 13.6 RBs, 1.2 ASTs

Beasley:  20.3 PTs, 5.9 RBs, 2.1 ASTs

Felton:     17.2 PTs, 3.7 RBs, 8.9 ASTs

Total:  59.8 PTs, 23.2 RBs, 12.2 ASTs

... and Felton an improvement in every category over Nelson ... I'm liking my core very much. :)

(Nelson: 12.4 PTs, 2.8 RBs, 6.5 ASTs)

I'll be curious to see what type of offense you run.  Jameer has his flaws, but the two areas he excels at are leadership and shooting the three.  That works perfectly for Orlando's present offense, whereas Felton wouldn't be as good a fit.  However, in other offenses less dependent upon three pointers, Felton would be a better fit.

Are you planning on using Beasley primarily as a PF or SF?

Big board, trades should be updated. Working on players list now.

You're responsible for your own rosters/pick placements to be in the right place. If I've made a mistake, tell me.

Sorry I missed my pick. Did Roy tell you that I love AK47 or did you just remember from past drafts? Or was he just the highest player on your board?

While Felton also is ahead of Nelson in free-throws, Nelson is ahead of Felton in threes as you say, (.407) ... however, Beasley's .396 at tres makes up for Nelson's weakness in that area ... I like the trade-off just fine, considering Nelson trails in just about every other aspect.
