Same as Celticsblog Draft: Outta fairness to teams picking next please don't discuss players not yet taken... could some delete the guy's name above?

I am a big fan of Steph Curry but I thought NO NAMES PLEASE was a better fit in the backcourt alongside Tyreke Evans.

Evans is going to hold back Curry's development the same way Monta Ellis has done in GSW. They are too ball dominant ... they limit the amount of time on the ball, and responsibility, Steph Curry has as a playmaking PG.

Curry needs more freedom to express himself on the court to become the player he is capable of being offensively.
Ah yes, sorry, I forgot that rule.

Edited it out of my post.

since you pick 1 spot ahead of me it wouldn't have dierectly affected me I guess. Looks like this is gonna be a long draft picking behind Who :(

thanks -- didn't mean to sound insane about naming names.

How can you not pick a third PF?   You are ignoring the true T-Wolves drafting strategy.  (load up on PFs and PGs)

I had told a few that I was picking, and there was generally the same reaction that's going on this thread: Bit surprised. As mentioned below "Curry top 5."

Here's the justification of the pick:

Curry's a two positional player who can run an offense real well. I think in any kind of draft format the flexibility he provides is an incredible asset. I could debate the 1-2 combo of Reke-Curry, or I could move Reke and be able to choose between a PG or a SG in later rounds.

There's other, more talented players out there but neither seems to be a good fit for a team that is building around Demarcus Cousins.

For some deluded reason I saw him lasting.

I hate this pick... since I had hoped Noah would improbably slip to #10

I dunno, I think he is a beast.  Good defender, great rebounder, and his offensive game is improving.  He is also still pretty young, and his teamates seem to like him.

To be fair Noah is an undersized C, so you can consider him a PF if it makes you feel better.

Its funny what we can talk ourselves into sometimes. I was sure he'd be there at #7.

I would've picked him and flipped him or Bogut, but I think he was the BPA for you, esp since you already have a power forward.

He is a good pick.  He is the defensive dirty job guy that you need next to Love.  He can take the other teams best offensive big man, whether he is a PF or a C.

Nice pick ... gives Kevin Love some protection defensively.

Love and Noah will give you one heck of a rebounding combination up front.

But can they learn how to share, that's the question.

I will pick when my time starts.  I have no issue being the first GM to skip someone.

Also, Detroit has asked me to pick for him.  IP can confirm if necessary.
