Minny Selects what we believe is the best Talent left on the board, and will be a good 6th man

Antawn Jamison
Antawn Jamison and Josh Smith will give you some interesting lineup options.

Oh, and Rashard Lewis too ... very interesting.

Trade everything for Dwight Howard. Trade Deron Williams for Dwight Howard, please, and pair him with these guys.

It would be amazing.

Ya, i knew i should probably be looking for a backup big man, but i figured i should just go with best player available at this point.  And he also happened to be a flexible player like Jamison.  Also provides me some scoring off the bench.

get ready...........

with the 9th pick of the 4th round, the CHA BOBCATZZ select arguably the most talented player left on the board

Gilbert Arenas

---------------------
with a pick like this you almost have to address the concerns, even though i think there's some intransigence to folks' opinions about certain players (see: Williams, Mo among others).

Not that i'm scared by the haters: i took Gil in the CelticsBlog draft this summer as well (though later traded him) and thought it was the right pick then as now.

in 14 games as a starter this year Mr. Arenas has averaged 18.8 pts/6.4 asst/3.6 reb/ 1.5 stl and 2 3-pointers -- so he's clearly back from his injuries.

All of those were alongside Kirk Hinrich (11) or John Wall (3); In the 3 games with Wall, Gilbert averaged 21 ppg, while Wall averaged 9 assists. So I think it's fine to slot Arenas in at the 2-guard alongside DJ Augustin without hurting either's game.

Yeah he's a handful at times (along with being a mercurial talent), but Gerald Wallace isn't gonna allow any shenanagins on his team.

The LA Clippers, looking to shore up their Frontline with experience, toughness, and a potential starter if need be - select:

Kenyon Martin!

His stats do not look impressive right now, but as he rounds himself back into playing shape from his injuries he will provide valuable leadership and defensive contributions to our team.

Interesting pick. Martin is a bit of a lockeroom rabble-rouser and he has a tattoo of lips on his neck, but if he ever gets back into form this is a great pick.

Yeah that tattoo is certainly interesting, I must say. I'm sure it has some meaning for him, whatever that may be.

He's already averaging over 5 rebs in about 21 min of play, so he's getting back to form.

GC, you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to employ the Eminem strategy of bringing up all of Arena's shortcomings in advance in order to deflect criticism.

You know: guns, poop, knee problems. That sort of thing.

He's not back, he's shooting 37% from the field, 30% from deep and he's not getting to the line anymore. His TS% is .489 this year.

Gilbert is good for jacking up a bunch of shots, awful defense, and a couple of assists. He might get hot and win you a game, but he'll lose you 5 in the mean time.

He's not a lockeroom rabble-rouser, IP.  You just need to make sure JR Smith isn't on your team.  And you don't have practice or games on April Fools Day.  And you don't sell popcorn in your arena.  These are some common sense things that every GM should avoid if rostering K-mart.

He's already averaging 8-9 rebs in about 21 min of play, so he's getting back to form.

So far this season in an average of 21.7 mins per game, Martin is averaging 5.9 pts and 5.1 boards.

If you take out the first 7 games where he averaged less minutes, he averages 24.3 mins and gets 5.8 boards and 5.9 points.

As of right now, he's not a rotation player yet, IMO.

After considering a number of options (and changing this post at the last minute), Philadelphia will (re)take a prospect at the wing in Evan Turner.
