He had a good game today. Hit a couple shots, brought some energy off the bench, thats what he was brought here for.

Nate wasnt singed to score 20 points regularly, hes a bench player that has been playing out of position all season so far.

He barely handled the ball tonight and he played well because of it.

Last night was an example of what Nate can bring and the kind of weapon he can be.

I will repeat, he is not a guy I would want to rely on nightly. Delonte will be the guy relied upon to run the 2nd unit offense.

However, Nate can be elite at 2 things. Ball pressure and streaky shooting.

He is a weapon I want in my back pocket for the playoffs. Unless Delonte isnt healthy or we can get someone back like Delonte, I do not want to trade Nate. I can just see Nate doing what he did last night in a playoff game. Heck he already did it in the Orlando series last year.

Yes his play, shot selection and decision making can be frustrating but his role will be different in a couple of weeks and those flaws will be out of the forefront.

Probably not exactly what you meant, but an elite streaky shooter?

HaHa. Let me explain.

I was going to type elite shooter. Then I realized that is not right because of how streaky he is. So I think I am going to stick with elite streaky shooter.

When he is hot he is one of the most dangerous shooters in the league. He can explode for a quick 10 points in 2 minutes.

It's not a great thing to be elite at, but I think it is appropriate.

Nate did well in an "off the ball" type of role, sure he handled it for a little, but alot of his big shots came shooting off screens with Rondo running the point.  With Delonte back and running the second unit that's what will be expected of him.

Lakers have a tough time covering Nate, and he seems to raise his game against them. For that reason alone, we will keep him! Go Nate!!

Too bad we didn't use him in Game 7.

Do the Lakers have a problem with little guys?  I believe Lakers fans consider Earl Boykins to be a "Laker Killer" who always seems to do well against LA.
