I think that both should be prepared to start, and that both should be prepared to come off the bench, because I can see a possible rotation, one in which the starter changes depending on the matchup in any particular game/series. I agree that Shaq probably shouldn't be the focal point on offense, but with everyone (or nearly everyone) healthy, he won't need to be the offensive focal point on the second unit. With Delonte at the point, Nate comfortable at his natural off-guard position, Quis's midrange game and Baby also in the post, Shaq could work quite well in what would be a well-balanced second unit. And I think Perk's offensive deficiencies are better masked with the starters. All that said, Rondo to Shaq is awesome, and I want to see it all year.
