As silly as that sounds after missing those couple weeks I mean he looks phenomenal, looks like as if he feels that hey now that's out the way maybe I needed a stretch out of the calf  ;D

He has been a monster and truly looks like his old self. He notices it himself as well as evident in his recent blog write up. Here's to a healthy KG the remainder of the season we as fans and the team definitely missed ya Big Ticket !  :)

TP - and don't let the superstitious guy bug you about starting this thread.

I agree, all the best to KG - and even if DRJ1 is right, that these January injuries are in fact "time off" (lol), if he can just make it to the playoffs this could be another title season!

Since he's back, KG's puttin up 17pts and 5.6 reb a game. The points are there but would love to see those rebounds back at around twice as many like before. That's what i'm watchin for.

If it had been the playoffs, I'm not sure KG would've missed any time.  Given that fact, it's not surprising that a couple weeks away from the grind of the NBA season should yield more youthful legs.

But as KSNC said, it'd be nice if he put that spring into some rebounding.

In what way?  The game before last he had a horrible shooting night before and last game he only had 3 rebounds.

No reason for concern but I don't know about better.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

check me stats. technically the scorin's better but the rebounds is much worse. what's his minutes since he's back though? That affects rebounds too

He's played 31, 29, and 25 minutes. He's grabbed 8, 6, and 3 rebounds respectively.

His rebounding rate in the Magic game was around his season average and the last two games have been sub par. I know he got most of his rebounds early in the Magic game as well, fatigue might be an issue. Either way he's looked good overall with lift and mobility, so I'm not worried.

Yeah I don't necessarily mean numbers mainly talking his lift, mobility, defense etc..

Last night in particular he was just awesome defensively. Milsap, Al and even Deron who are definitely no slouches were very hesitant to even get in the paint and KG was a huge part of it.

Given how we were all feeling on the night of the injury -- like a giant balloon had been burst deflating all the energy of this season -- seeing him back and agile feels almost miraculous.

KG has come back very well from his injury, little by little, he is playing very well defensively, now is the best defensive player in the league for me.
The important thing is that he is firmly in playoff.
KG are the best¡¡¡
