All you have to do is look at the box-score for the Orlando Magic game played on Monday Night. They shot 60 % from the field, made like 90 % of there free throws but only won by 3 pts. They attepted 10 3-pointers, only making 3. Just saying.. Hopefully they can pick up someone b4 the trade deadline. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/gametracker/live/NBA_20110117_ORL@BOS

ummmmmmm... i think we have the best 3 pt shooter in the history of the league... and let me know who you want??? and i think we did ok in the playoffs last year with essentially the same shooters.. and the reason the magic game was close was due to ft's and them hitting some tough shots

More like we need to get Dwight Howard who the refs let get away with everything. How many FTs did he get?  ;D

Keep in mind that Orlando also shot the lights out from deep in that game.  Dwight also went for 30+.  I'd go as far as to say that they would have beaten any other team in the NBA that night, and most of them by a large margin.

I view that game as a huge positive for us, rather than a highlight of any of our needs.

Also, keep in mind that Delonte is a pretty good shooter from deep.  Between Paul, Ray, Nate, Delonte and sometimes Wafer, we have a pretty capable collection of shooters.

How about a guy who is a career 37.4% 3pt shooter, and has knocked down 50% of his attempts this season.

His name.... Delonte West.

Ray, Pierce, West, Nate, Wafer, and now BBD. We have enough IMO.

I don't like making rash decisions based on  one regular season game. I'm glad GMs don't do this.

Ray may be the best ever, but hes getting old. Plus hes predictable in the playoffs. He runs in circles more times that my dog did b4 goin to the bathroom. Ray knows it and the opponents know it. He won't be getting the same looks in the 20 11 playoffs.

Will this be Allen's first year in the playoffs? He has been doing the same thing for years. Now you are telling me 2011 is the first time opponents are going to notice what he does and FINALLY try to stop it?
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

i don't know. he's old and i think he need someone else to share the responsiblity. He can't keep running around like that. I am happy Paul Pierce is at the top of his game and in peak condition though. Hes a stud. As far as picking up someone idk, i haven't followed much. I'm more into football right now, but hey maybe your right.

I still wouldn't mind nabbing Posey somehow. He's got the three and the D...also can play both SF and PF.

alright yeah, i remember him from Miami. I think he won a ring with Wade and Mourning (played good in this series) in 2006. He's physical, i know that.

I think he's being sarcastic.

Anyway, I think we're pretty solid for 3-PT shooters. We already have Ray and Paul who are very reliable. Off the bench we have Nate and Delonte who are legit threats as well.

Add to that Glen Davis and Kevin Garnett who are effective floor-stretchers, we have plenty of space for Rondo to work with.
