Starting from scratch, no one else on the team, who you got: Chauncey Billups or Baron Davis?

Rather have 1-2 years of good Chauncey than 2-4 years of who knows what from BDiddy.
But just think of the thrill of owning Davis and getting to call him fat for 4 years! (It works in the real world...)

I'd go with Billups. Top offensive facilitator.

I was once a big Davis fan, but at this point, I'd also choose Billups. Too many seasons of Davis playing his way into shape and following his first impulse on offense.

I think I'd pick Davis, mostly because I think he brings an instant idendity.
Huh?

Davis is more of playmaker, but his awful inefficiency brings him down below Billups level of play. Plus Davis more than willing to mail it in if things aren't going well on a given night.

The Wiz are leaning towards Blatche.

More upside then Lewis.

Had to think about Young and the way he is playing right now.  (20 points a game now as a starter shooting 45%)

I'll be interested to see who the Bulls, Heat and Spurs keep.

I think the Heat are a no brainer, Bulls and Spurs are tough though.
tell me about it.  I've got to choose between Timmy, Manu and Parker.  It's tempting just to kick Parker to the curb for being dumb enough to step out on Eva.  Can I trust anyone that dumb to run my team?  ;)

Hmm the Nuggets? Who to keep? How do you keep Melo knowing he wont sign an extension? All the questions and no answers...I guess I'll field trade offers.... ???
Part of the ground rules for this game is that you have right of refusal of your kepers for the rest of their career. Basically they're always restricted FAs.

So keep Melo and he has to come back.

Yea I know that but what good is an unhappy player....Also not sure who to keep as my second player leaning toward NENE or Ty Lawson?
it's a fantasy league.  fantasize about Melo being a happy camper  ;D

If you pick Davis, I think you're acknowledging that your team is built to run and be athletic - which is kinda funny b/c he doesn't do either well.

I'll field offers for anyone on my roster. That includes Nash, my only declared keeper (as of right now).

I'd go with Tim and Manu ... I think Ginobili is just more consistent than Parker, and he is one of the League's best hustlers, and just plain works his tush off when he's on the floor ... at both ends. Still hard to kick a guy like Parker to the curb, though ... but hey, I had to do the same thing with J-Rich, (though there's method to my "madness").

Sixers will listen to offers for Iggy or Holiday.  Also we are possibly willing to move down in the first round, but that depends on who's available, so we won't pull the trigger on anything right away.

but that depends on who's available, so we won't pull the trigger on anything right away.

Right now, anyone looking at trades needs to realize this. For instance, I spend the whole week leading up to the draft trying to trade out of #11 last year so I could draft Nene or (starting big men are in short supply) higher...and all my trades fell through, and I picked up Nene.

Don't make a deal unless you know for a fact what you'll be getting back.

I received an interesting trade offer for Kobe, and have made a proposal of my own. Anybody who wants a smug jerk of a superstar with five rings, just make an offer.

Yup.

Just like Baron Davis mailed it in during that upset of Dallas a few years ago ;D

He also quit during the series against Utah - the one where he caught AK47 napping....

I thought about Chauncey - but again, I simply did not believe that a quality PG would be available by the time I picked in 2nd round.

I already have plans for my pick in 1st round...
