Some things change, but the Clippers just keep rolling along....

LOL!

By the time I'm done, it will be clear. I have a plan. If I let go of Baron, I'm sure someone here would've picked him up.

Plan B was to keep Gordon and hope to get an experienced PG later on.

Didn't see that happening, especially in latter rounds.

Ya, the more I think of it, the more I tend to agree w/ the decision.

Baron would get picked up, eventually. But much later than Eric Gordon. Remember from the original pick 2.

Quote
Team's have right of first refusal for their keeper players for their entire careers

A big part of this draft is the fact that you'll never lose your keepers when you build your team.

That's your CB Draft belief that Baron Davis is still a high level PG talking  ;).

I believe Baron still is a high-level PG.

Right now you have: CP3, D-Will, Rondo, D-Rose, R. Westbrooke, Steve Nash, Raymond Felton, Jameer.

I think Baron easily goes into at least top 10 slot here, and on a good night could slide into top 5 still.

For me Eric Gordon was the second keeper in Clipperland, but given how (over)valued PGs are in these drafts, it might be the right move though my guess is a better PG than the current version of B-Diddy would be available.

I am open to trading franchises, if anyone needs a draft time that is later in the day. I have Phoenix (1:00 PM draft time).

I've already reached out to one GM, awaiting response.

He's that ex-girlfriend I can't shake....

I just think on the surface it looks curious, but when you keep in mind he has the 6th overall pick it makes sense. I think the difference - if any - between the scorer he likely selects at 6 will probably be less than the difference between Baron and the PG he would've had to select in the 2nd round.

In the interest of fairness, I do think its the right move - but I'm sure I'll give Eric Gordon a lot of thinking w/ my 1st overall pick.

On paper, probably. But B Davis gives me an experienced playmaker, that can hold his own against any other backcourt.

I just didn't see an experienced, batlle-proven, capable PG that could get the ball to That Power Forward available by the time I picked in second round.

I have my sights on 3-4 game-changers for me with that 1st pick.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Houston huh? I can work with that. I'm open to trade my franchise as well. Lots of good players to pick from as well as the twin towers: Miller and Yao. This team would kick so much ass if it were 2004.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Pau Gasol, jealous of the exquisite chemistry between his brother and Rudy Gay, punches Rudy in the face.

Marc Gasol and his equally effective , if clumsily named, "Glass Ceiling" hook.

This was under the google image search for " Rudy Gay and Marc Gasol". Rudy Gay and Marc Gasol would at least wait until Pikachu evolved before they spent all their time trying to catch it.

I'll be interested to see who the Bulls, Heat, Hawks and Spurs keep.
