I am against any trade that brings to the Celtics the only openly soft big man in the NBA.

We are supposed to gut our bench (getting rid of everyone sans Shaq/Perk and West), give up 3 picks, AND give $5 million for that?

I see in no way how this helps us this season or next - or ever. I'm not giving up championships for medicocre (at best) potential.

Complex trades like this don't happen too often, and when they do, it's usually for at least one perennial all-star/superstar, which this deal certainly doesn't include.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Why would the Pacers do this? They give up two young wings with potential for 3 months of Shaq, bring JO back (the fans turned on him a while ago), and some guys who can put up good numbers on bad teams (Yi, Quisy).
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Strike one. You only trade that many guys from one team if you want to overhaul everything and start over. C's don't need to start over.

This makes less than zero sense. Figure that one out.

Yes at 31-9 we need to blow up half our roster.  Let's trade Ray Allen while we're at it, I mean he's all washed up right?
