So the idea of trading Brady isn't all that outrageous. Especially if you could put yourself in line to somehow get the Stanford QB down the line...

So the plan is to trade Brady and end up with one of the worst records in the league?

Pats need to get a true deep threat and help on the line on both sides of the ball. Their offensive/defensive lines weren't good enough in that game. Other than Wilfork no one really commands the line on defense.

Personally I think they need a running back that is somebody other teams have to gameplan for.  My theory on why the Jets are so effective against our playaction is because they dont care if BJE picks up 10 yards, they just dont want to give up the 25+ yard strike from Brady.

CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

well I was thinking more of trading him somewhere and getting a pick that could potentially be a #1 pick in return...

The Bruins seem to have done it.

I would love a prime time running back. I just watching a good running game. It's so demoralizing for the opposing defense.

The NHL has a lottery. You'd really have to trade him to a team that's so bad that even with Brady they'd be one of the worst teams in the league. Teams that are that bad don't trade draft picks for 33 year old quarterbacks.

Correction, teams that are that bad don't exhist.  I can't imagine a world where a healthy Brady or Manning QB a team to the worst record in the league.  It wouldnt happen.

Well the lottery in the NHL is not why the Bruins got their picks....plus the lottery is very different than that of the NBA...

Anyway, you'd have to trade him to a team that had someone else's pick or to a team that could get you a pick high enough that you could ultimately package picks to get up to where you want to get....

Pretty impossible to predict.  Look at the Rams this season.

Arizona Cardinals seemed to do okay adding an older QB.
