I'm thinking it is a coincidence, but it is hilarious. I just dont see Welker as that type of person, but what do I know?
I disagree. If you look at the entire interview, he's clearly forcing the words "feet," "foot," and "toe" into answers that clearly don't call for it. Plus, he has a reputation for being a prankster.
And what exactly do you mean by "that type of person"? If he's obliquely teasing Rex Ryan about his foot fetish, that doesn't remotely put him in the same boat as someone like Antonio Cromartie.
Jon - where did I write anywhere above that "that type of person" = same boat as Cromartie?
I wrote exactly what I meant, Welker doesn't seem that type of person to force jokes into an interview, going by the OP. In the OP, there's only text, and all the replies appear to be standard responses I'd expect from almost any member of the football team. I know in my experience along with viewing others, people tend to repeat the same phrases and expressions over and over when talking to the media.
Granted, after getting a chance to watch the video, I have to agree that it was a little intentional ribbing. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as I wrote above I thought it was hilarious (but originally just a coincidence).
In the future, please dont over-analyze my posts. It's not that serious.
