Stoudemire over KG, are you kidding me? Same for Rose over Rondo, on a lesser level. I guess Rondo and KG's injuries really hurt their cause but hopefully they can get their starting spots back before the end of the voting.

Boo!  I get the reasoning -- Amare and Rose are putting up huge numbers on playoff teams, while KG and Rondo have lesser stats and have been hurt recently -- but I'd love to see KG and Rondo get the start.

I really dont think you can argue Stoudemire over KG. As much as i love seeing Celtics in the All Star game, Stoudemire is by far the most deserving forward in the East.

Darn!

Stoudemire really overtook KG, Rondo is still in reach though.

It's really not that big of a deal, but, I always like to see our guys get the love.

Get out and vote everyone!  Let's do this!

If you only take offense into account sure (and the same goes for Rose).

Exactly.  To a lesser extent for Rose but Amare compared to KG?  Amare is still only a good helpside shot blocker and KG has been the DPOY IMO.  Rondo has been the best by far in the league at the main focus of his position, passing, and he plays much better defense than Rose does.

KG and Rondo deserve the start and I hope they get it.  Amare over KG would be understandable because of his truly great offensive output (I'm used to D getting ignored) but not Rose , I really think Rondo has been better.  The Rose for MVP talk this year has been a little much for me.

I've voted for all the C's multiple times, but I've no problem with Amare and Rose moving ahead.  I would be behind them if I were a Knicks or Bulls fan anyway, then add in the injury factor, the continued unevenness to Rondo's game, and it's all okay by me.

Agreed.  Rondo didn't help himself any with the way he got outplayed by Rose in the Chicago game.

I don't care about the all star game at all, don't watch it, useless etc
I hope whatever celtics can be voted on by fans so they can get bonus money etc BUT I'd really like rondo to sit out that weekend and try to heal the ankle(s).  He has no lateral speed, its very noticable  on the defensive end and especially when he plays against a fast pg.  KG is voted on, I hope he does the same, PP same as well.
We are after a championship.

Yup, i agree with whoever mentioned the bulls celtis game. Rondo should've decided to show up cus i could see that havin an impact on the votin. He mustve still been a lil injured cus he loves that matchup. Oh well it realy doesn't matter at all cus we know who's gettin the important hardware in the end. It is kinda a kick in the jewels to go from 2 starters to none though
