I realized my young kid today was watching a tv public service announcement and Lebron was telling kids to stay in school......I kid you not. This really happened.

Where is the FCC when you need them?

Does anyone have the name of a good child psychologist?  It could take years to undo the damage.  They're highly impressionable at this age.

NBA TV just reported Kobe will be the first athlete ever to get his hands and feet put in cement at that Chinese theater thing in Hollywood.

I know you are joking, but honestly, it is pretty genius casting.  Little kids look up to guys like Lebron as much as any other public figure, so I think it would sink in more coming from him.  And there really is no irony there, since Lebron finished highschool (which I am assuming that is what the PSA was about).

The most irritating thing I have seen was Lebron's villain Nike Ad. Oh, I forgot, the most irritating and eye-searing moment was Lebron's "take my talents to south beach" diva moment. These two things leave a scar in my subconscious that everytime I see Lebron he makes me wanna puke

Do you think they show it in Cleveland? How do you think the "Don't quit" message from him goes over there?

Nobody listened to me when I said it. I am saying it again. Someday there will be studies done showing how this event affected kids in Cleveland.

  • Thank you Eddie!
I know for a fact that if I were a second grader watching that, I would seriously consider dropping out of school just because Lebron told me to stay in school and don't quit.  Especially if I lived in Cleveland.
