TP.

Steven A. might be right that Sheed wants to come back for the playoffs, but will the C's want him? Personally I hope we dont need him because that means that one of our big men is probably hurt.

I always loved Sheed. But wonder why he would come back. I thought he was tired of the refs dogging him. He really was dogged by everyone, but I loved his attitude and toughness.

If he does come back, I'll be one of those cheering him on.

That would be great!  I hope he comes back before the playoffs so he can get in game shape.

What is the deadline he would have to be added by to qualify to play in the playoffs, and who's roster spot is he taking?  Both Delonte and Wafer have been extended to the end of the year...

How would this work? Vet Min? Would it activate his prior contract?

someone must be very very very sad and scared if thats even a true posibility
those are like 30 fouls a game on him

Quote:
Smith told Patrick that the Celtics' plan, should they meet the surging Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, will be to challenge them with "brute size," adding Wallace to a frontcourt that already includes Kevin Garnett, Shaquille O'Neal, Jermaine O'Neal, and Glen Davis, with Perkins due to return from a knee injury relatively soon.

From Edgar.
Not to mention the Orlando Magig, the LA lakers and every single other team in the league

To reiterare; someone would have to be cut to make room for 'Sheed on the roster.

I don't see Danny straight cutting anyone on this roster to make room for Wallace.  Maybe he would do some kind of two for one trade to bring the roster down to 14 and then use the last spot on 'Sheed.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

He was washed up last year.  I would hate to lose someone like Semih to rent Wallace for a few games.  I think we can live without the 6pts, 3reb, and 41% field goal percentage the great Rasheed Wallace gave us in the playoffs last year.

Yea I dont see how this would work... We already have a logjam of size at the positions of PF and C. Kg, Baby, JO, Shaq, Perk, Harangody, and Semih have all logged minutes and have all played fairly well in the minutes they've been given. Where would Sheed find playing time? Especially at 36 years old, bad back, and out of shape. I just dont see it happening.

Sheed is a last resort if we can't overcome injuries.

KG, Perk, Shaq, JO, Baby, Semih, and Harangody...we are very deep down low. Currently we're missing the best 2.5 big men we have. If that remains a problem, then I think we can consider Sheed. Otherwise, there is no way.

Sounds good to me.
If he can get himself into any kind of condition, I think he can still help. I'm not a huge fan of either of the O'Neals at this point in their careers.
And there are at least three replacable guys who the team wouldn't miss at all if Sheed came on board.

Sheed would be a better third string center than Erden.

I would be fine with that swap.
