I thought Glen Davis played a real good game tonight. Marquis Daniels played a great game. The way the Rockets played tonight nobody could have beaten them. If they needed a tip in they got it. If they needed a field goal they got it. If they needed a 3-point goal they got it. If they needed a foul shot they got it. Callin all cars, we need the Big Ticket.

The Rockets are a very talented team that has been underachieving this year a bit.  Unfortunately, no matter how down they are, most teams seem to give the Celts their best effort.  Tonight, we saw that a motivated Rockets team is still a very good one.

Of course, the Celtics compounded things by playing poorly, and the Rockets hit some lucky shots.  The Celtics didn't have a lot of margin for error tonight, and unfortunately, they played sloppily for a lot of the game.

(BBD's performance is a topic for another thread, but I wasn't particularly enamored by it.  Marquis did play well, though, and Ray of course was very good.)

I have learned a long time ago to never underestimate a Rick Adelman coached team.

The Rockets would be very good if they had a real inside presence.

We need better defense.

Which is tantamount to saying we need KG back.

Were you watching the same rockets games as everyone else?...

Remember the thread going around about Babys worse game yet... Well, there should be a new thread after the rockets game because this game was worse... Terrible shot selection, again taking the most shots out of anyone on the team. This should never be the case with Baby. Again, a poor assist game. He still never passes the ball. And he played terrible terrible defense on Scola the entire game. I dont understand why Doc didnt put JO in for more minutes than Baby tonight. At least JO was useful out there and didnt hurt the teams chances.

It'd be nice to keep HCA in the playoffs against the heat and magic, but I guess it's not going to happen again.  ::)
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

One of the problems lately with Baby is that when paired up with Shaq or JO, he becomes the perimeter big.  That's why I liked the end of the game lineup with Paul at the 4 and Davis at the 5.  I like Baby much more when he's playing inside.

If KG doesn't return soon, or can't play big minutes right away when he comes back, I'd like to see more of that lineup.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

It was always an unrealistic dream that this team, after what we saw last season, would maintain pace to get the #1 seed for the playoffs.

Our only chance is to win it all as the #2 or perhaps the #3.
