Nice start to the 6 game home stand. Remember when Miami stunk

the next 3 games need to be wins. losing to the kings or bobcats will not be tolerated. and they need to take the magic behind the woodshed. no more of the BS

What was Shaq's numbers vs this small team?  :'(
10 points and two rebounds, he still doesn't look very good. At least compared to early in the year.

Yeah, I knew his numbers. I said it facetiously. My point was he shot 100%. Nobody on this team was going to stop him.

This is just like the Spurs game. Spurs came back and almost won, but eventually lost because they had no business being in the game in the first place. I applaud the C's effort in these last few minutes, but too little too late.

Am I the only one still watching the game?  Lot of past tense going on here.

We need to forget about Shaq playing well except occasionally for the rest of the regular season and hope he is rested and healthy enough to turn it on in the playoffs (kind of like Sheed).  Just be thankful Shaq doesn't jack threes.
I'm hopeful that Perkins coming back will allow them to rest Shaq more.

Hopefully.  I think we need to temper our expectations for what we'll get out of Perk, though.  We need to remember that he hasn't played any real 5 on 5 basketball, let alone NBA-level basketball, in months.

Celtics are a .500 team right now, they were last year around this time too, it has to be Docs gameplan, he just has to put on a good face and act like he cares for the good of the fans.

Yeah but he'll need minutes to get into game shape/form. Given Shaq's poor production as of late no reason he can't take his.

Rockets could have 5 high school players and still beat the Celtics.

Rondo ends the game on a perfect note. Another stellar effort from Nate, 1-7, with baby 6-14.

It was always a matter of when, not if, Miami would become a regular season powerhouse.  They are built to demolish lesser teams.  Time will tell if they can enjoy the same type of success in the post-season against teams that have more talent and are better prepared.

One thing is for certain, though.  Miami will have the #1 seed in the Eastern conference, and may end up with the best record in the NBA (barring any major injuries to one of their Big 3).

If Perk can get double digit rebounds and a block, I'll be tickled.

It's ok if we don't get the number one seed. What's frustrating is it would be because of losses to Detroit, Charlotte, Toronto, etc.

If we aren't going to care or give effort, play the bench. Rondo, PP & Ray still had high minutes.
