This game began like it was going to be much closer ... the second half has been a thrashing.

13 years in the league, arguably the best TE to ever play the game, 4 playoff appearances, 0 wins. Who else feels bad for Tony Gonzales?

  • Rondo = Good
Looks like the Falcons are the Hawks of the NFL.  Lots of talent at various positions, not very good in the post-season.

In other news, I'm feeling a Patriots vs. Bears Super Bowl.  Don't ask me why, but I'm just feeling it.

The Packers look great but I think the Bears win tomorrow and then host the Packers in a snowy NFC North showdown and win an all-out brawl.

Then the Patriots, who win two straight hard-fought games at Gillette, defeat the Bears by a touchdown and a field goal in the Super Bowl.

*knock on wood*

Both the Bears and the Packers can play well in bad weather, (especially cold/snow) ... that would make for an awesome NFC Championship game. Actually, the Bears don't scare me like the Packers do, as I think we match up better against them, and we haven't faced a "Rodgers" version of the Pack this year. Either way, if the ultimate outcome is the same, I'll be very happy. :)

I'm much more afraid of the Packers than I am of the Bears, but for some reason I just have a feeling they're not going to make it all the way to the Super Bowl.

Maybe it's because they were a 10 win regular season team that was .500 on the road and in order to advance to the Super Bowl they'll have to win their third straight road game.

Also, I tend to think that a team in the Bears position against the Packers - that is, a team that lost an end-of-the-regular-season game when they didn't need to win and get to replay the team that defeated them in the post-season - has the advantage.

A good example is last season's Colts against the Jets.  The Bears know the Packers well and though not a better team may have a very solid chance of beating them at home.

Or I could be dead wrong.  Indeed, if I were going with my head and not with my gut right now, I'd say Packers vs. Steelers in the Superbowl, and Steelers win again (assuming they're healthy).
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Can Ravens Steelers really be considered a rivalry if the Ravens never win against the Steelers?

Rodgers and GB looked really good.
Between Marshawn Lynch's TD run last week, and Rodgers' performance on Saturday, I'd say Cal is representing itself pretty well in the playoffs.

That was a great performance by the Packers last night in all three facets of the game.  Rodgers certainly looked locked in.

That Pick Six at the end of the first half absolutely killed the Falcons.  You're playing in a dome.  What the heck does another 5 yards get you with 10 seconds left?  Just a terrible play call and pretty awful throw by Matty Ice.

That was basically Game...Set...Match for the Packers.

Marshawn Lynch went to Berkeley??  Where's a reality TV crew when you need one?

I don't think the Seahawks stand a chance against the Bears. This one should be a blow-out.

Yep. Cutler made a poor throw. Seahawks had a chance to turn the game around with that int.
