Well, I take Doc's very last sentence there at the end "different degrees of pain" to be a good sign. To me, this means that sure JO had pain last night, but let's say tonight in CHI his pain is minimal - to the point that he can be effective for us.
JO's impact for Boston has been displayed - he is maybe our best low post defender off the bench. He can sub for Center and PF. His play in our NOH game last week was a reminder for me of his effectiveness.
Some nights he can help, others he may not be able to. That's ok. I say give him spot minutes for next few months, then have him in hopefully his best condition for our playoff run into June.
The MLE thing is unfortunate, but at least he is giving an effort. I can't blame his health for him not trying at least, which he is.
