Great game from Luke, he was really a key in our early run and his energy was contagious. Nice to see him hit his shots with confidence, also.

Yeah, great stuff ... let's hope he can start giving us a consistent contribution ... he looked much more relaxed and aggressive tonight.

The scoring seemed like a bit of a fluke, but its the rebounding that I loved.

It was great finally seeing one of our big men put talent and effort into rebounding!  We will be needing more of that Luke, so keep up the good work!!  ;D

It was good to see him finally get the shots to fall.  He can hit the jumpers like that.  Luke is still a year away from being proficient on the defensive end but he is an nba rebounder already.  Next season I'd expect him to be a rotation player, if davis bolts and Luke can figure out the defensive rotations i'd have no problem with him as backup pf.

Did you see him at Notre Dame?  In summer league?  He's a natural scorer--and a rebounder.

And I'll throw it out there now because someone else probably will.  If Luke keeps this up, would you consider trying to move Big Baby for someone like Shane Battier?

On one hand, I don't like it given the health of all of our aging big men.  However, that said, if healthy, KG, JO, Perk, and Shaq are more than enough to cover the 4/5 spots.  And even if one went down, Luke would only be called upon in the playoffs to play 10-12 mpg backing up KG.

Furthermore, Miami is looking better and better.  Having someone like Battier to throw on LeBron could go a long way.  Moreover, at 6-8, Battier could play some 4 like Posey used to do for us.

Yeah I was going to post something similar.  Luke's scoring isn't very surprising.  His problems are and will always be defending but, hustle and desire can make up for some short comings.  See BBD.

My favorite play of the night was BBD going into his post up move stepping back and hitting his white doppelganger (Luke) cutting under basket for a hoop.

No because Luke isn't half the defender BBD is.  Both Battier and Posey are done.

Great all around game from Luke tonight.  Bradley?  Yikes.  He seems to have a Gerald Green-like grasp of the game.  Still, he can D like a mad man, but it'll take him a couple of years.  He doesn't come ready out of the box like Luke does.  Four years of college ball is pretty good training.

actually i watched the whole game, Bradley played great defense and on one specific play, he blew by his defender for a missed layup. He was open for the layup but was too strong and missed...his offense game will come but his defense im already liking...hes chasing his man like theres no tomorrow and i like it

I don't think we will be able to make any judgments on Bradley for quite some time. His offensive game is horrendous and he also airballed a 12-foot jumper last night. He needs to get to the NBDL and play a lot of minutes.

Luke needs to show he can play defense before there is any consideration to trade Baby.

With Baby and Luke the only healthy 'bigs' so far this year, they'd be crazy to make that move.  I think they sit tight right through the playoffs unless one of the big guys goes down for the season, in which case Sheed could return.

To clarify my original post:

1) I did say "someone like Shane Battier;" so the overall point isn't so much Battier, but an elite defender at the 3.  Sub in whoever you like.

2) I'd only make such a trade if I'm Danny Ainge if I'm legitimately worried about the Heat.  I'm not sure I'm there yet.  However, let's keep in mind that Ray and Paul could easily get into early foul trouble against the Heat.  Do we feel confident with Marquis Daniels guarding LeBron to the tune of 20+ mpg?  I'm not sure (and I mean that sincerely, I think he might be OK doing it).  But if not, we might consider such a trade.

Definitely gets props from me. Ill admit I havent been a huge fan of his game and think he would really benefit from some D League time. With that being said, it was great to see the kids hard work pay off with this game. He must have been estatic, good for him.

I don't think that his game would benefit at all from the D-league. He already dominated college which is very similar to D-league... he needs to get use the NBA.  He needs more NBA court time.  Going to the D-league would be regressing in my opinion.
