Yes Offensively, a little way to go defensively... I think Luke is going to be in the league for a long time.  He works hard and hustles on every play.

I think we might have to see a little more consistency from Luke.  I know the premise is "right now;" however, is Luke capable of doing this more often when he gets more minutes?  I don't know.  And if things go right for this team, we probably won't know for quite some more time.  Once Perk's back, there's no way he's sniffing the floor except in blowouts.

He's able to shoot and rebound consistently once he shakes the rookie shakes for good, but teams will begin to adjust and there are some teams he'd just have a harder time against.

If Luke were on a team that could afford to give him consistent minutes there would be no doubt about the answer to this question.....Yes

You are forgetting all of Scals intangibles.

Right now, without any further development.  Discuss.

Luke's dog is better player than Scal.
And as a matter of fact, Scal's dog is better than Scal,
and waives the towel better for that matter,
when he's not peeing on opposing players or furniture, of course.

yes,  even without further development by Luke.

His superior rebounding and hustle give him the edge.  His shot will start falling and it'll remove all doubt

Luke is still a rookie.  I don't know if he is all arouond better right now, but his potential is much higher than Scal's ever was...if he gets productive playing time.

Right now Luke has a higher motor than Scal on the offensive end but Scal gets the nod with the mental aspects of the game because of his yrs.of development.

Scal who???????????

One of the biggest imposters in the NBA. Fans made him a mascot. He didn't know it was an embarrassment.

One game people! I like Luke and think that he will eventually be BBD's replacement, but it is way too early to say how good he is/will be. Great game last night though. I'm glad he's on this squad, but Scal is a better overall player right now. Probably not in the long run though.
