I think Rondo being injured def hurt him a bit in the voting. Maybe last night's 22 assist, triple double outburst will remind fans who should be starting ;)

Pretty impressive that Rondo kept that lead after being out of the lineup for a few weeks and not really being healthy since early in the season.

yeah the injury definitely hurt him in the voting. let's start voting to get him back up significantly. and KG too.

beating chicago and rose on saturday will increase rondo's lead. KG is also alot better than amare and has played better this year, don't understand the hype about amare. when we played them in ny the last time KG dominated amare when he took him on one-on-one, amare took and made a couple jumpers on KG but KG crushed him inside.

I have my doubts that KG/Rondo will be able to hold off either of them.

I need to remind myself to chip in a few of my own.

So if voting were to stand as it is today Paul being second behind LeBron....would that mean he would or wouldn't be in? Would he come off the bench? Or the bench is voted in by coaches?

I forget how it all works.

Yeah, it will be tough.  There are just a lot more people living in New York and Chicago than in Boston, so they have the natural advantage.

Still, if we all do are diligence, we can bump each of their vote counts by a few thousand.

Still I think the C's are due for at least three all-stars again, potentially four. KG/Rondo are clearly going to make it one way or another Ray/Paul both have solid cases too. One might get left off, though they'd probably be likely injury replacements if/when someone bows out.

I know he hasn't been healthy, but Joe Johnson and his max contract getting beat by Crawford is kind of hilarious.

Only a few other real bad ones.  Shaq shouldn't be that high at all, Wall and Arenas are both bad ones.  And Danny Granger?  Awful season.  I know some of these guys won't make it but just saying, every year I hate that fans vote for All-Stars.

As far as we go I see this happening and by the end expect all 4 to be in.

EDIT: Actually forgot Shaq... 5?  Has a team ever had that many?  It could work against us.

I just looked at Ray/Paul's season stats, they both should be in. Especially with Joe Johnson and Granger's sub par play.

Guards:
Rondo
Wade
Rose
Felton

Forwards:
LeBron
KG
Amar'e
Pierce
Boozer
Horford

Centers:
Howard
Noah

Is probably what I'd put it at, though I'm not in love with the idea that Felton would be an all-star. I can easily see Ray getting left out for Granger/Joe Johnson. Boozer/Noah could both miss due to injury but should make it. Josh Smith also should have a shot at sneaking in.

I think it's a safe bet that Shaq will be in it.
