the moment Glen Davis stopped shooting every ball that passed through his hands.. whallah!!

he's back in his 'blackhole' mentality

Glen is 5 of 11.  I can't say he isn't aggravating as I'd much rather see the ball leaving Pierce or Ray's hands, but 5 of 11 isn't terrible and he's shot at least one, maybe 2, at the 24-second buzzer.  I would rather see him takign up some space underneath.

JO and Wafer with the best defense/board work of any Celtics in the 1st half. 

Baby vs. Love was an abomination.  Shaq/Rondo look very vulnerable against Ridnour.  Pierce and Ray need to crash the boards.

rebounding will definitely need to be a team effort tonight.  BBD and Shaq need as much help as possible

his percentage isn't awful but he's not swinging the ball.  PP isn't exactly on his game tonight but Ray's looking decent.  I'd like to see BBD move the ball more.

I know Big Baby is a valuable part of our team, but I'd rather err on the side of rebounding than versatility when it comes to my big men.  I can't stand big guys who can't rebound.

Although while I'm hating on him, I should dis Shaq as well.  Big Fella has been so slow to the ball the last few weeks.

good lord, Darko's looked like a real first round pick tonight.  not a #2 pick mind you, but a first rounder

case in point with BBD's lack of rebounding ability on Darko's FT  --> while the ball was bouncing on the rim, Love had BBD shoved under the basket where he had no chance for a rebound.

(3) Detroit -- 1 board in 16 minutes
(4) New Orleans -- 1 board in 15 minutes
(5) Toronto -- 6 boards in 24 minutes
(6) Minnesota -- 1 rebound in 15 minutes

With the exception of that Toronto game, Shaq has been horrific on the glass ... and in even in that Raptors game, Dorsey beat him to the ball on a couple of different occasions.

In the other five games, a total of 6 rebounds in 75 minutes for an average of one rebound every twelve and a half minutes. Jeez ...

I like Wesley Johnson. He looks a nice player.

I think he would be a lot more comfortable at his natural position (SF) though. He doesn't seem happy bending down low against Ray and running after Ray through all those screens. I think they'd get more out of him on the backboards too.

I have faith that Rondo, Pierce, and Allen will win the game for us.

But how many *@$#$!&* games do we need to see Davis shoot 6 for 14?  And its onl7 the 3rd quarter.  I cannot think of ANY game where he should be getting more shots than Pierce and Allen.. and I might even throw Shaq in that mix.

Disgraceful that Davis is getting outrebounded 18 to 1.  Uggh.
