Ainge was very specific citing the exact muscle.

Awesome news and I feel like I can take this at face value.

Absolutely made my day!

unfortunately it doesn't matter what we need. It sounds like rondo is out a few more weeks so we have to make do with what we have. Start Daniels at pg, use JO a lot and hope he responds positively, and I guess you have to play Luke a bit now.

Turns out the Dr who assumed it was a calf strain and KGs reaction was more out of fear of the knee was SPOT ON....

ainge says 2 weeks. even if it does take 2 weeks, i hope they decide to take their time getting him back and have him sit for a month.

i think its pretty key to have some of our guys sitting/resting during the season, garnett being a big one. if they wanna play into june, a break is needed. we know when rondo comes back, he'll be ready to go. same with KG. these guys know what it takes.

in the mean time, i think the only way j o'neal will get comfortable and confident is by throwing him in the fire and giving him big minutes, kinda like how we did with erdin.

Phew!

That was a bloody long time for all of us to be holding our breath, wasn't it?!?!

Rest up KG ..
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Eh, minor injuries happen, but I wouldn't say we've been lucky this year.

Well, his calf could have exploded and killed the entire team. At least that didn't happen.

In general, I always chuckle when people say "lucky it wasn't worse".

Sure, he was decapitated, but at least his face wasn't damaged so we can still sew it back on and do an open casket. Where did he put his favorite scarf?

I'm happy about this news too, guys, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.  We need to take our temperature again in mid-January.
