new to the board and just so happy that it's not a serious knee injury. That's not say he's out of the water, muscle injuries are a nuisance as well and take quite some time to recuperate. I hope it's not partially torn from the bone, if that's the case we'll have a 70% KG..which is still better than a 0% KG.

Whew. That is amazing news. I was very apprehensive as I logged in. Didn't see the game and got about a dozen hysterical messages. Wish KG a safe and speedy recovery and excellent health through to the end of the playoffs (and beyond).

Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Let's assume the best - he's 100% healthy in the knee after 2 weeks.

Last year, KG came off the knee injury, wasn't 100%, but there was talk about the mental part of the recovery.

Hope he's back 100% physically & mentally.

I'm not as worried about his physical injury as I am about his mental state and how much he would reserve himself to prevent other injuries :-\
Anything is possible!!!

this might be a blessing in disguise.......if Garnett comes back full-strength

him taking a month off and resting until February wouldn't be the worst thing come playoff time

About what I expected last night.

Not a bad thing. The Big 3 are going to need some time off anyway.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Thank God KG is alright and let's knock on wood we don't get any other sorts of injuries for the remainder of the season.

We really need our starters mainly, but all of the team healthy and ready for the playoffs.
