On the front page, his quote seems to be "mid-afternoon, or by sometime today".

Let's say the Celtics get the MRI results at 2:30.  They still need to then process those results, discuss them with KG, and formulate a plan, both for his recovery and in reference to how this should be handled with the media.

I'm not surprised that this is taking awhile.  I expect we'll know something late this afternoon, but if it's vague that shouldn't surprise anybody.

Agreed. I don't know why but I've got that ugly feeling from 2 years back where they didn't outright come out and say what the deal was and kind of left us in the dark. I hope I'm wrong but I'm gettin a lil nervous here. I mean why wouldnt Doc at least know if he was able to walk and move okay, or if there was at least swelling or not? That doesn't take a MRI.

I wouldn't worry too much. Apparently the MRI wasn't even necessary, but KG asked for it.(precautionary reasons)

well, what the heck it's the holidays so i need to be cheerful...

maybe this give KG a rest in the middle of the season. he comes back with a healed leg and new energy. leads the celtics through the playoffs and then to another championship.

same for rondo.

same for perk.

same for JO.

same for west.
