That makes a lot more sense to me.  That did not look like an actual calf injury, but I could definitely see it being the small muscles around the knee.  I also don't believe Doc ever said it was his calf.  He just said it was muscular.

This is looking incredibly similar to the injury 2 years ago.

We should definitively know tomorrow after the MRI.

Tanguay just said it again at the end of the show that the knee structure was tested and everything was fine, but they were looking at the muscles around the knee ...

Latest from the Herald says:

AUBURN HILL, Mich. — The latest word from the Celtics is that Kevin Garnett’s injury is to the outer part of his right leg — below the knee and above the ankle.

Team spokesman Jeff Twiss said it the injury is “muscular in nature.”

He confirmed Garnett will have an MRI on Thursday.

how did it look ugly?  He didn't twist anything and he didn't hit anything. His initial reaction was not good, but he seemed ok afterwards. Pierce's initial reaction to his injury in game 1 of the finals was bad too, and look how that turned out.

Official word on KG: Muscle injury to the outside of his right leg, below the knee and above the ankle. He is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow.

Well he didn't want to even land on it, not only that it's obvious he was in severe pain. It almost appeared he was even tearing up from it. As we know KG is tuff as nails so it definitely didn't look good....ugly whatever you want to call it.
