Not sure why they don't replace Fisher. He's done.  Replacing young with old looks like a mistake so far.  Artest looks done too.

Fisher looked done last regular season too, but he stepped up bigtime in the playoffs.  Sooner or later it'll catch up to him, but the Lakers have seen him struggle in the regular season before.
He really didn't, he was terrible in the playoffs. When you make a 20+ playoff game run you're bound to have a few decent quarters. Most of the time he was a huge negative for the team.

He didnt have a great finals but he hit some big shots.

Even in the finals all of his numbers were up from the regular season. He averaged at least 10 ppg in every series (including finals) and shot 45% from the field for the playoffs (38% in regular season).

He had 5 16+ point games in the playoffs.

I think he stepped up and I wouldnt be surprised if he did again. PG's are forgotten in that offense and Fisher has been taking advantage on the big stage for years.

Fisher can play until hes 40 with the Lakers. He almost always makes the big shot that matters. I dont understand how the Lakers are so good when their PG and SF are abosolutely terrible.
