Wow. I thought the refs were going to count that. Get back soon rondo, but my guess he is out 3-4 weeks

Refs tried their best but even they knew how bad it would if they let that be counted.

Thankfully, you can't shoot a 3 in .4 seconds.

I'm hoping that Doc told them not to guard the 3 on that principle.  Because that was a terrible lapse if they weren't doing it on purpose.

Yeah, my first thought was woah, what the heck, why is he so open?  But with .4 left on the clock, it's smart to leave a guy open.  If a guy can catch the ball and get a shot off in .4 seconds, it's really unlikely it goes in.  Amare took a really nice shot, and if he had .8 seconds it probably would have counted.  Thankfully it was .4 and not .8.

I will say though, props to the knicks fans...even after they confirmed the no shot, I heard and saw alot of them applauding their team.

Which I can definately understand and respect...sure they didn't win, sure this may have been part of an equation of the celtics just playing terrible...but the fact is, the Knicks came to play tonight.  Gary just said it best, they're making people notice them.

They'll start to slow down though no doubt and probably end up a 7 or 8 seed...maybe 5th if they're lucky.  So a first round matchup is very possible.

Should be intersting though how this team does when Amare finally cools off.  Cause he's not keeping this up the whole season.

Wow. What an incredible win!

We beat one of the hottest teams in the league with half of our bench injured as well as our star point guard!

The biggest play of the game was the refs stopping play after KG's put backn at 116-113. Gave our D time to set up and didn't allow Felton to push after a make.

People are going to overreact to how "well" the Knicks played tonight, but they simply are not that good. The Celts had NO centers tonight and a one-legged point guard in the fourth quarter and they still scored 118 points to win. The Knicks are a novelty act in the NBA.  That is all.

Yeah, I feel better about it after thinking a little bit.  You can't get that shot off without a very fast catch and release - Amare's just not that fast.  Still gave me a hell of a scare.

Pierce with the fantastic shot (and a very solid offensive game) but I have to give KG the game ball.  Completely dominant in the last 5 minutes of the game.  Took the Amare iso away as an option and abused him and Chandler in the paint and on the boards.

This is why if Knicks don't learn to play better defense they may win a playoff series or 2...but they will not beat the C's in a playoff series.

What a fourth quarter, the Knicks couldn't miss for a while there!

Great job of Garnett in the last two minutes of going to the rim hard and getting his own misses to score. He was definitely fouled on the second shot. Amar'e had a great offensive game, but he needed to get another couple of rebounds for the Knicks to win the game.

Pierce was clutch.
