If I hear that Knicks announcer do the Gallinari thing in the "THAT'S A SPICY MEATBALL" accent I'm going to throw up.

I think that inoculates Boston from being called yahoos for quite some time.

Uh, we're still right in this game, and we've got more than enough talent left to beat this team.  And NY is likely to tighten up when the pace slows down near the end.  We still have every chance to win this game.

  • Rondo = Good
time for Von Wafer to make an impact.  opponent that doesn't play defense...he can shoot...it's his time to shine.

there you go doc..keep playing rondo push him big time in a dumb game...ya the knicks are just the same as a championship RIGHT......dumb old doc, no vision..oh ya doc this game is so important...screwed now, ham, foot and ankle....we'll play him tomorrow though...right....!!!

he rolled an ankle on someones foot.

I'd be with you if it was one of the other injuries flaring up, but should doc just not play rondo ever because he might step on someone?

That injury could have happened in the first 30 seconds of the game or the last minute, it wasen't a wear and tear injury for pete's sake....

EDIT: annnd another cheap touch foul the minute the celtics get rolling to slow the game down, what a surprise.

wow that was a BS call on Pierce.

These officials... wow.

Disgraceful for the league. Sterno is chuckling.

Nate seems to think it's time for his Mega Man impersonation.  Hope he can step up against the old team.

Oh boy, if only Glen Davis were athletic enough to dunk like that.

Crap, that looks like a couple weeks.

i'd gladly take just two weeks out for Rondo right now - that looked bad.

i never did like Rondo playing for the USA team this summer - he's had 3 looooong seasons with all the playoff games and last year running so late. i'm very patriotic, and i know he left before the actual tournament and all, but that whole thing was not worth it - he should have been home with his feet up watching those games on tv.

and with all that, yes, Doc plays Rondo too many minutes - i would keep him at 32 - 34 per nite. we need him feeling good come playoff time.
