While thinking about the record, I wondered if Ray had already in mind his "in game reaction" prepared for when he beats the record. Do you think he does? And what could it be? I expect a classy gesture (no surprise here) but I'm hoping for an "original" one.

I think it would be both cool and classy if Ray made  a "31" sign with his fingers to honor Miller.

He'd probably get fined by Stern for using gang sign language.

There's a good chance Ray breaks this record during the home game vs LAL based on his current pace.  It's a TNT game so Miller could get the assignment and be in the house to witness his record go down.  I would guess if it's early in the game and not crunch time the other team might call time-out out of respect and give Ray his spotlight.  Though a last second game winner wouldn't be bad way to get 2561.

  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!
Player              3FGA    3FG%    3FGM
  1. Reggie Miller  6,486   .395   2,560
  2. Ray Allen      6,394   .398   2,543

seems like he will break it with slightly less shots
I know this had been said before.

17 to Tie
( man he score thos fast)

18 to Lead

Go Ray Ray we love you

(Imagine how sad would it be, he breaking this record playing with other jersey, theres no place like Boston to break records, hope he start average 3 a game and make this fast for all)
HE said when there were 20 less he will start to worry, seems like he take the worryness seriously because hes only better now.

:D

And for the gesture, I am sure he will only do the short YESS and raise a hand. I want to see mommys face while hes scoring that one.

29 January 2011 - incl. PHO (2/4 3PM)

Ray now has 101 on the season and 2,545 total 3 pointers made
He is just 15 behind equaling Reggie, 16 to beat him

...now that's out of the way...what a nasty game...C's lost it for themselves initially then the refs stepped in to help them lose it >:(

13
to set the ALL TIME 3 POINT MADE RECORD

30 January 2011 - incl. LAL (3/7 3PM)
Ray now has 104 on the season and 2,548 total 3 pointers made
He is just 12 behind equaling Reggie, 13 to beat him

What an absolutely amazing shooting game from Ray and Paul; and despite the high score, an amazing defensive effort on Kobe (16/29 for 41 points). If Ray or Paul had taken 29 shots, each would have made 51 points with their efficiency...I hate Kobe love.

TP, can't wait until he passes Reggie. Hopefully he gets 2 or 3 each against DA/ORL/CHA, then against the Lakers he breaks the record on his first shot of the night.

...then we win the game by 20, of course. :)
