D-Wade was ultra aggressive in the Finals that year...he basically made the refs blow the whistle every time D-Wade went to the rim.

Funny stuff - Clearly it was Wade - that 49-25 ft advantage in game 5 had nothing to do with Joey Crawford, Joe DeRosa, and Bennett Salvatore...

Probably one of the worst, most biased examples of officiating in NBA history ... it has rarely been clearer that the refs have ultimate power in this game, and that they'll go to almost any length to get the result they desire. I'll never forget it.

I agree completely - as a matter of fact, that game is why i started using this screen name.

All the more irritating is how often before and since the names crawford and salvatore have been synoymous with biased officiating - and clearly with Stern's blessing, since when Joey resigned over the IRS scandal where he and several other refs were cashing in their 1st-class airline tickets for coach tickets, and pocketing the difference, Stern barely waited before rehiring him in the lockout season...

Per Rich bucher's twitter:
Snap Take: Heat are different team with DWade driving the bus. Better team. Took the wheel vs. Cle and hasn't let go.

Man, if only someone on this blog had been saying that DWade was at worst the best 2 Guard in the NBA for three years now.

Are you saying I have endearing traits in the first place? Or is this just a matter of degrees? ;D

Agreed. Not sure Wade has that killer instinct.

This is laughable...Wade single handedly won that finals.  They went down 2-0 and he completely willed them to that championship.  Say what you want to say about the calls or all the free throws he got, he still went to the hoop hard time and time again.

Taking 4 games in a row in the finals?  Averaging 35 ppg in the series?  What does killer instinct mean then?

Shaq sucked that year.  He was fat and lazy.  Anyone who tells you otherwise just wasnt paying attention.

OK, I will.

The ALLTIME FINALS RECORD for ft attempts by one player (and in just 6 games) was an embarrassment, joke, and travesty.

What team couldn't win a 1-pt game with a +24 ft margin?
Obviously someone has to have the record.

Not sure why you would expect it to be set in a 7 game series. One game is less significant than a matchup problem the opponent can't fix.

LeBum isn't clutch and wants to be Scottie Pippen, I think.   I think Wade doesn't deserve as much heat because he didn't have some moronic special.   Besides LeBum horrible FG% and TOs and stifling team offense will over dribbling hurt every team he has ever played on.
