Sheldon, last night vs Memphis, 23 minutes, 9 rebounds, 9 points. He would have been a better bench guy than gody, or wafer, and bbd always played a lot harder, after doc put sheldon in HIS spot.....that is all i am saying.
He's not a 2 who can shoot the three, so he isn't comparable to wafer.
While I agree he's probably better than gody, you are now arguing semantics since gody you know, never plays. If you like to look at sheldon rather than gody in his warmups all game, more power to ya.
And people can bash sheldon's complete and utter lack of an offensive game other than put backs without having played "real basketball" whatever the heck that is.
He was a awful offensive player at duke too.
I like sheldon, he has a high motor and can rebound the stuffing out of the ball. I think he's going to have a semi productive and long career bouncing around as a rebounding and energy specialist for teams as their 8-10th man ina rotation. But we didn't need him here, and our front court is looking fine, even with the injuries.
I would ARGUABLY have him at 5th on our front court rotation, and he's 6th when perk is available. why would the celtics invest in that kind of contract when they can draft a kid like gody to be the 12th man for less and have other front court options?
sheldon will be fine, be happy for him getting some burn in denver, we had no spot for him here.
