I just have the feeling we are going to lose this one. Mostly because Rondo seems to have aggravated his hammy, Nate has a sore ankle, and Boozer should be more in the flow. Plus I think Chicago has a lot of energy, and is starting to get it on the defensive end.  The loss of Delonte will be felt more as well. Deng always proves to be a match up problem for Paul.

The C's should still win tonight, how close depends on Rondo's health/game and if Boozer is able to contribute more than on Wednesday.

C's are playing so well recently and Rondo is poised to have a big game to show up one of the other young talented point guards in the league.  I think they'll be fine tonight, but if Nate doesn't play you are right to be worried about our lack of depth at the guard spots.

I expect Boozer to be slow to integrate himself into that team.

Chicago are not used to having an offensive threat like him + he is a defensive liability who struggles with team defense. I expect there to be a learning phase while he adapts to his new team and they to him.

Consequently, I'm expecting some bumps in the road. Especially against an elite defensive team like Boston.

I think we will need a lot of this reverse-jinx tonight, cuz I have a strong feeling that tonight's association series debut about the Celtics will be jinxing enough by itself... :-\

I won't go as far as predicting a loss, but I do wonder whether Chicago will ultimately be the biggest threat to the C's in the Eastern Conference.  They really seem to have a very talented team that can out-energy opponents and can also out-skill them.  I don't think they match the C's (when healthy) talent-wise, but they have always (the last few years) been a troubling team for the C's and they are better and more experienced this year.  I am looking forward to tonight.

Chicago is 9-7, they are 2 games above .500 and some of you around here are acting like they are the best team in basketball.

The only threat to the Celtics in the east are Age, Injuries, and Effort.

We are clearly better than Orlando, Miami isnt a threat until they get a legit big man and point guard, and Chicago has a terrible offense with Rose and Boozer being their only legit options. (I liken Noah to a better version of Perk)

Comeon on guys, have confidence in your team.

Most of that record is without Boozer, and remind me again when it was that Perk last averaged 16 and 12 with a block and a half a game?

Bill Kennedy on the game tonight...I'd say a loss isnt out of the question.
The NBA..where "this whole sport is a business and the referees decide games and David Stern is a snake and is only in this for the money" happens.

As I recall, I read an article just the other day where Boozer states he's playing through the pain...which means he's not 100%.

Besides, that's a moot point, the guy only plays on one side of the court. I'm not concerned, this roster is a downgraded version of last year's Utah Jazz.
