Well, the jury is technically still out on what the Wolves got because they do have a significant trade exception after the Al Jefferson trade I'm pretty sure. I don't expect much out of that, but you never know.

Marc Gasol didn't have great value at the time of the trade. Memphis might've ended up better, but for the trade value at the time of the trade, the Celtics gave up twice as much. Basically: no one would've been greatly shocked if Marc Gasol was a bust.

The trade was ridiculous. Other teams in the league didn't even know Gasol was being heavily shopped at the time...that's not how you get the best value.

I agree with you! Initially I was just talking about how Gasol and KG have enjoyed nothing less than a trip to the finals in every year since the trade (considering KG only played in two playoff series with Boston).
