From Certain defeat. I would trade for a VETERAN point guard. Ideally Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, or Billups.

The way I see it, I would do anything in my power to keep my two massive Egos together, now and forever. And that's Dwayne, and Bron.

I feel like a OG point guard is the only hope they have right now to save these two players before they Implode.

And I would give up Bosh to get him.

Marc Cuban could have a three big rotation of Dirk, Bosh and Chandler. With a great young PG in Beabois. And could sign a veteran next year. Kidd is 37 and may have three more solid years, Would you pass on a chance to land Bosh, when your not really a title contender, and Kidd is fading.

Phoenix needs big guys, the story of that Franchise. Nash is 34 or 35 and they have a young PG. I love Dragic, that kid with J rich, Turk, Bosh, And Lopez not bad at all once you find another Center.

And Denver on the verge of losing Carmelo, Needs to rebuild anyway, and could really use a nice young piece to build around like Bosh.

Last thought is that Nothing would turn these truly anazing athletes Like Jason Kidd would. The trust they would have  of a guy like Kidd is IMO exactly what the doctor ordered.

The Heat's biggest weakness is probably their lack of size.  Trading Bosh for Kidd doesn't help that, and just gives the Heat one more player who needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

I personally don't think the Heat need a PG that much; Lebron and Wade can each function in that capacity.  If they're going to move Bosh, I think it should be for a tougher player, preferably a guy who knows how to play interior defense.

I guess I'd call up Charles Oakley, Christian Laetner, Keith Van Horn, and Karl Malone and show em some movie with old men trying to get one last gasp at glory (Magnificent 7? Unforgiven? Gran Torino?) and be like "Feel up to some baby sitting?"

They should have signed Boozer over Bosh in the off-season.  I understand Boozer is hurt now, but he would have been a much better fit.
do it

I don't think that'd help them all that much. Boozer would get a few more rebounds and score a little more efficiently but they'd be even more vulnerable to length.

Plus one of the big reasons Bosh got more money than Boozer is that he hasn't been injured as much over the course of his career, and he's younger....

Go back in time and not sign Lebron.

Legit points.  Length is a concern, although I'd say that Boozer is a better overall defender.  Boozer can at least muscle opposing bigs inside; Bosh at this point is a revolving door creampuff.

Bosh could become a better defender than Boozer though, he's got the quickness and length for it.

Either way he was who Wade/Bron wanted, and he's younger/less injury prone.

We really need another fix the Heat thread? oye.

And one that suggests trading their best big man for old undersized point guards... Lebron, Wade, nor Bosh are going to be traded... Aside from that, they dont really have many trade pieces. besides, they arent even at the 20 game mark yet, let the team get a half a season under their belt before coming up with ridiculous trade ideas.

Use this year to get the egos in check and get them playing together. Sign Perkins in the off season to a max MLE. Figure out how to make Wade's and Lebron's touches complimentary instead of competitive.
