I'm not sure how I feel about it. I suppose MJ felt really strongly about it?

I think it's been dealt with enough and need be left alone now.

Also if this has been posted previously, let me know and I'll take it down.

What do you guys think?

MJ is so much better than LeBron.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Lebron kinda reminds me of Dominique Wilkins. A great scorer, dunker, leaper...who just couldn't get over Jordan's shadow. Lebron is already a great NBA superstar, but until he wins a championship, he will never be in the same class as the jordans, birds, magic johnsons, etc. And if he does win a couple of titles...he'll just be another clyde drexler in my opinion. Another Jordanesque player who simply isn't as good as MJ.

I'm a little confused. Is that a legit remake from Jordan, or some sort of comically edited online video?

If that's from MJ, then....hahahahahahah Slap in the face from the great one!
Can't stop, Rondo!

Seeing as MJ narrated it himself, I'm guessing it was officially from him and his marketing people.

An attempt to boost his ego or his merchandise sales? I don't know, probably both.

Brilliant. Jordan is the man. And he knows it, wants us to know it, and certainly wants LeBron to know it.

Yeh AFAIK it's legit marketing for air jordan.

Jordan uses parody.. it's super effective.

Wow.  Looks like Nike had to do something after their commercial failed to rehab the image of one of their marquee spokesmen, and consequently tarnished the brand a bit.

And I'm sure MJ was happy to do it.

I don't really like MJ, but, like Kobe, who I also can't stand, he was a great player who put in the work that greatness requires and didn't ride on his talent alone, which was enough by itself to make him a star (but not a champion).  Lebron could learn a lot from both MJ and Kobe.  Let's hope he doesn't.

Lebron James...the more I talk/write about him, the more frustrated and angry I get.

Its a fan made edited video.

The original commerical is here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Uugz5Y7u6M&feature=related

It was for the Jordan line from Nike back in 2009.

Great Editing

1st it was Kobe ripping MJ moves, now Lebron ripping his advertisements. Here is the original ad foreshadowing the failure that is Lebron James.

Yes, great editing, and a nice find by whomever it was that put this together.  Didn't make much sense for a Nike effort...

...yet it set up the distinction between Lebronze and MJ perfectly.

MJ has broken into mythical status.

why does Michael Jordan have to say
"maybe you're just making excuses" ?
who's making excuses, Michael ?

Wilt was the best ever, not Michael.

So someone edited two commercials together on a computer, is that even possible?  I tend to believe that Nike wanted two of it's biggest commodities to have a commercial war.
