The numbers are there...you've heard them over the past 2 days, how when Lebron and Wade are on the floor at the same time the team is what? -11 or something like that?

Do the heat at some point consider bringing Wade in as the 6th man, starting James Jones or Eddie House in his place?  Wade comes in to sub Lebron each game to keep the rotation going of having one of them on the floor with Bosh.  Obviously it'd be a big step for Wade to agree with it, but if it gets to that point, I can see him trying it for a few games.  He'd be open to it way more than Lebron anyway.

No offense to you but I wonder why so many Celtics fans are trying to "fix" the Heat, I've seen numerous threads about trade ideas supposed to improve their team and I just don't understand it, they're supposed to be the enemy so why try to help them? ???

Horrible idea.

I second this...

Wade is the face of the Miami Heat...Its his team...And, here's a bold statement for all you, he is the Heat's best player. You dont put him on the bench to defer to Bosh and Lebron. Wade should never be a 6th man on any team especially at this point in his career when he is making the type of contract he is.

Best way for the Heat to fix themselves, wait three years and let James opt of of his contract and sign his max deal somewhere else.

No offense to you but I wonder why so many Celtics fans are trying to "fix" the Heat, I've seen numerous threads about trade ideas supposed to improve their team and I just don't understand it, they're supposed to be the enemy so why try to help them? ???

Four reasons:

1) Boredom.

2) They are fixable in quite a few ways, and have talented but a flawed combination of stars.

3) Any time someone posts a thread about improving the Celtics by trade or signing, it meets with wild resistence and derogatory comments about the OP's intelligence and/or lack of support for the team, to the extent that the idea of trading perpetually injured, over-the-hill players with no history with the team (JO), and role-players made to look better than they are by virtue of the talent atop our roster holding them up (Posey, TA, BBD, Perk), are openly ridiculed.  That's no fun.

4) It's not like Hall of Famer Pat Riley is going to be getting his ideas on how to run the Heat by reading Celticsblog, so it's pretty safe to say we're not actually helping anybody, just amusing ourselves.

Sometimes it's just a better conversation to talk about another team.  We can have a conversation about bringing another team's star off the bench, but mention having Paul come off the bench on this blog to give added offensive punch to the 2nd unit and see what happens.

Bonus Reason #5:  It's a heck of a lot easier than trying to fix the Raptors.

Fixing the heat is simple.

Get a legit defense oriented starting center. Get a speedy point guard.

Bosh needs to stop being soft and focus more on defense and rebounding instead of his offense.

Wade needs to adjust his game and become more of a shooter instead of a scorer, while lebron focuses on what he does best, penetrating and kicking it out to the open man.

Easier said then done though.

None of those things are happening this year. Maybe next, maybe the year after next.

LOL.  Yep.  The Heat are doing exactly how they should be doing. No changes needed. ;D
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

Carlos Arroyo, James Jones, Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Big Z - Your Heat lineup

Mo Williams, Anthony Parker, Lebron James, Antawn Jamison, Big Z- Last years Cavs

Do you think that Dwayne Wade coming off the bench would have made The Cavs beat us?

So Wade plays 10 or so minutes a game while LeBron's on the bench, or do you cut Lebron's hours way back to get Wade on the floor more?

The messiah plays all 5 positions.  Unfortunately, Wade plays two of those positions.  Both need the ball constantly.  Of all people, Skip Bayless made a great point.  They never pick and roll off each other.  Never pass to each other.  They're usually on different ends of the court.

That's the problem with the Heat.  That and the messiah doesn't have any respect for their coach.

I was just about to write the exact same thing and I'm glad to see that the very first response beat me to it.

Let them rot!
