I know Bradley is only 19 and still recovering from an injury but I think he can help us right now. And even if he is not really effective it will give him some experience and learning curve.

Plus, since Doc and the staff have been raving about his defensive game, his defense could earn him a spot in the rotation.

Anyway I think it's the best solution, I'd rather see Bradley get his chance than Doc overplaying Rondo, Pierce, Ray or even Marquis during Delonte's absence.

I'd actually prefer Daniels if Rondo continues to sit out and Robinson starts.  I like Daniels at the point.  He plays solid D on most points, he's a very good rebounder at that position, it opens up his slashing/post game and it gives him the ball more, mitigating his weakness as a shooter.

Bradley's not ready for primetime on a good team just yet.

Won't happen.

Celtics have a lot of depth at his position. Rondo will likely be back soon. And Von Wafer will be getting a lot of playing time.

I'm absolutely agree with you, maybe Doc was stressed with the way the team played, so pathetic, so he just won't risk with the kid in that game, but I hope and I think we will see what the kid is capble of in West's absence. So sad that D-West is injured, but Avery is healthy and it's a great chance for us to finally see him in play.

It's the perfect time for Bradley to develop. Quis should stick to playing 3, and von wafer just sucks..

I'm all for seeing Bradley get some minutes but he definitely hasn't looked ready for rotation minutes at the point guard position yet.  He has to show he can dribble the ball up the court, let alone run the offense.

He can play the two with Nate on the floor and be sub for Ray. Nobody said that he definately will be the point guard, he's so athletic and can handle the two

I think Bradley should see some minutes, but he shouldn't be asked to replace DWest.

Doc can shorten the rotation to 9 with Bradley and Wafer seeing spot minutes depending on the game/opponent.

Smokey Q usually has an advantage in the post against opposing 2-guards.

Nate backs up Rondo.

Smokey Q backs up both Ray and Paul, getting around 28 minutes/gm.

Wins.

Shortened bench:  Nate, Smokey Q, BBD.  Spot minutes:  Erden.

Blowout "Gino-time" bench:  Avery, VW, Gody, Erden, and another guy, possibly Nate (healthiest, leaste likely to rupture spleen in garbage time).

LOL.

I will be watching Nate's spleen carefully on Friday!

I agree with the OP.  And as others noted, once Rondo is back, he really get by with Nate and Marquis absorbing most of Delonte's minutes.  Bradley then can get the odd 5-10 mpg.

I'd personally rather see Bradley since he can do some of the playmaking that West can and play tough defense.

Also, all that really matter is Delonte is back for the playoffs.  This team wasn't built for the regular season.

TP for this one.  Doc has been reluctant to play young guards.  At this point, with Delonte and Rondo out, I think that he should give the kid some PT.
