I don't know why everyone is fretting right now over DWest. Last time I checked, we were 8-2 without him. There is virtually no way he won't be back for the stretch run and playoffs.
He hurt his NON-SHOOTING hand, which makes a big difference.
Even if it is broken, I doubt he misses more than two months. The only real problem I can see is if he ruptured a tendon/ligament. Those could take longer to heal than a bone, but the fact that it was his right wrist should help out some.
Hopefully it isn't as major as it looked, but hey, let's get these injuries out of the way now. I wouldn't mind getting reinforcements like Perkins and West when January/February roll around, which is usually when the Celtics hit their seemingly annual skid anyway.
But right now, let's worry about not losing a home game to the Nets AGAIN.
