We now have 4 first ballot hall of famers on our team (hopefully Rondo would ultimatly be fifth) but i wonder one thing. Will Ray-Ray and KG go to the Hall as Celtics?
Pierce is a lock, Shaq 99,9% woudln't, but Ray-Ray and KG?
If hes not traded, Ray would play at least 5 years in Boston. He played 6,5 years in Milwaukee and 4,5 in Seattle. I thing ring and current success would outweight longer tenure in Milwaukee (like Archibald) and Ray goes to the Hall like Celtic.
But KG? On one side 12 years, MVP season and some tough seasons in Minny - 5 years, 1 (hopefully more) ring and great all-around experience in Boston. It would be great that RA and KG takes a 2 years veteran minimum contract with C's and retires together with PP in 2013/14 and that big three goes together in HOF in 2019.
No1 Celtics fan in Croatia

I think all three will be in the Hall of Fame.   RA will be the best 3 point shooter ever when he retires ahead of Miller.  KG was a force in the league for years.  PP will have the hardest path, he labored many years on bad teams, but he will make it.  Shaq is going to be a first ballot, not sure about the others.   I think it may take PP a few years, I think he deserves in, but the rest of the country just doesn't seem to share the respect for the Captain as we do.  Sadly, he is not respected as much outside of Boston.

I hope they go in as Celtics.

I don't think they have to choose to go in as a member of one team or another. Five years ago, Charles Barkley was publicly debating whether to go in as a Sixer or a Sun, and the Hall of Fame told him that he didn't need to choose-- he was just going in as himself:

Quote
Q: You told The Republic last March that you would go into the Basketball Hall of Fame as a Sun. You told the Philadelphia Inquirer last week you'd have a hard time deciding whether you'd go in as a Sixer or a Sun.

A: It was really hard for me to make a decision if I had to choose. But the Hall of Fame called me and said, "You don't have to choose, you just go in." It took a lot of stress off of my mind and my heart. I was a much better player in Philadelphia, but I had the best time of my life playing in Phoenix. And if I had to choose, I would have gone in as a Phoenix Sun. But, thank God, the Hall of Fame took the pressure off me and told me I didn't have to choose.

Though if Ray Allen did have to choose, I can't see Milwaukee being a contender since they had a bad breakup. He was blindsided when they traded him, and then he got badmouthed on his way out of town. Seattle would probably be more tempting because he could make a point about not liking that the city no longer has a franchise.

-Pierce goes in as a Celtic, no question.
-Ray goes in as a Sonic, or as a Celtic.  I see it as 50-50. Depends in part on how much longer is his playing career (in Boston).
-KG goes in as a Timberwolf.  I think this is pretty likely.  He was a good soldier for them, fought many battles with them, basically grew up in Minny.

-But I agree, it would be cool if all three went in as Celtics.

-How about Shaq?  I would think he goes in as a Laker, but he's sort of a goofball, and I could see him doing something strange...

Celtics fan for life.

The Basketball Hall of Fame is different than those of other major US sports because it is a "basketball" HOF, not an "NBA" HOF.  I don't believe the players are enshrined representing a team such as they are in MLB.

If they had to be associated with a team RA could definitely be a C, especially if he finishes out his contract here.

KG holds so many MIN franchise records I can't see him not representing that team.

but garnett thats a hard one. id like to see him go in as a celtic but twolve is prob what hell choose unfortunately
