What a difference it makes to have KG back at almost full force (albeit he’ll never be 100pct the KG of old).  Nice to see Rondo get mentioned among the best PG s of the league and see him grow as a legit leader on the floor.  Ray, Shaq and even Jermaine playing good ball and what can you say about BBD?  As of today, he is a legit 6th-man candidate.

But Lawrence…..whoa, what a difference our offense is from last years.  I attribute a lot of our offense success to the Princeton offense Lawrence Frank has brought to the club.  You rarely see isolations anymore.  Tons of back-doors have been added to our offense.

We all miss Thibs but got to give Lawrence Frank his props too.  We are seeing a more a resilient offense this season, and I have to think Lawrence Frank is part of the reason.

Kudos  to coach Frank.  8)

I completely agree. Lawrence is a smart balanced coach. I like his demeanor. Love it.

I thought Frank was brought in to be a defensive coach. I didnt realize he had offensive accumen in his resume. The offense does look pretty good. Thanks for pointing this out!

I hated our offense sometimes last year.  I've seen some glimpses of that this year, but overall I think our offense has improved.  If our new assistant has something to do with it then props to him!
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I must say our offense is much more fluid this year.

One thing that always bothered me last year, was how good Doc and the team was coming out of a time out for a set play.  But for some reason this never translated to end of the quarter/game situations.

Everyone's offense looks worse in the end of game/quarter situations. The defense tends to focus a heck of a lot harder in those possessions.

I also did not realize that Frank has helped with the offensive schemes. All the press said he was focusing on the D.  Did you read this somewhere? We definitely seem to be moving the ball around more this season than last.

I'm not sure how much of the improved motion and diversity is due to Frank's influence and how much is the team adjusting to Rondo being the boss on the court.

I think this is quietly one of the most important developments in the entire NBA.  Rondo is turning himself into an MVP candidate and one of the most elite players in the game right in front of our eyes if you ask me.
