I love Paul but he needs to be in the flow and put the ball in Rondo's hands.  Two game sin a row this hasn't worked.

He was definitely not on tonight, still he is a clutch guy and I would take him shooting FTs over anyone not named Ray on our team.

He makes some great plays, like the cut and the pass to Ray, but those are off the ball plays.  He can dominate with that fade away anymore at the end.  His fall away is very low percentage.

Rondo puts the ball where it needs to be.

I'm still against the Pierce iso. 9 times out of 10 he will miss the shot or turn the ball over. Plus the other teams know what he is going to do so it facilitates their job of stealing him the ball.

I would rather have Ray coming through a screen or simply good ball movement, or Rondo handling the ball and creating an open shot for a teammate.

Pierce with the ball is the right call. Rondo first has to become a better Free-throw shooter, then you debate this. Right now its not a debate.

Nice to see PP/Ray PnR back. Whatever happened to that play last season?

Nice to see them do something with the iso, was becoming too predictable.

I liked the Pierce and Ray Allen pick and pop tonight. Both can shoot the three, both can drive, both can find the open man, and both can hit clutch free throws. That’s 41,000 points playing in a two man game… if the defense makes the wrong decision they’re dead.

Where was Pierce ISO at the end? If he going to be our Closer, You must feed him the ball. Rondo isn't ready to close out games yet. That J is still a work-in-progress.

They were running screens to get either Ray or Paul the ball in space so they could either take a shot or drive. Dallas did a great job of smothering all of those options.

I don't know. If Pierce is going to be the closer like Dirk tonight, I think Celtics should simply give him the ball and get out. Put the game on his shoulders and a basektball play.

Shawn Marion had kept him completely in check the whole fourth quarter, I can see why Doc called for a different type of play.

I know Rondo is what makes this team move… BUT

I wouldn’t mind seeing Nate substituted to space the floor, with Paul handling the ball and making plays. (maybe this will happen once Delonte jumps on board.

That Pierce/Allen pick and pop worked nice.

That's my fav play when its clutch time. Its great when C's are icing the game. Last season Doc totally abandon it. Glad to see it back.
