I agree.  Especially since Villanueva does actually have a skin disease which he can do nothing about.  Talking trash is one thing, but if KG actually said that, that is crossing the line.

Just curious though, what do you think is NOT crossing the line for trash talking?  I tend to think the whole idea of trash talking is to cross the line and offend someone, and get in their head.  I am not saying its a good thing, but I just don't think this comment was at all out of the ordinary.

Yes the purpose of trash talking is to get into the other players head but most normal adults use some common sense and have a limit to how far they will go to get that rise from the other person.Obviously KG has zero limits.

Give me a break. Do you know what is being said out on the court? Players will clothesline players and punch them. The only limit I see for these guys is not to bring a gun out or try to literally kill them

It looks like what KG said was misquoted and he suppossededly didn't call him a cancer patient but to answer your post it sounds like you are watching NBA Beruit.I have played basketball at a high level and been close enough to hear on some NBA courts.There are some limits to what players will go,maybe not many but there are a few.1.Talking about deceased family members2.Sick(cancer)family members3.kids(sick or healthy) are 3 subjects that are usually off limits.I have never heard or heard of any NBA player going down those roads.

Oh come on...Charley Vill...crying because someone called him something..the world is split between MEN....and the rest...and when i say MEN, I mean regular guys..so talk some dookie on the court...big deal..is this guy in need of some attention or what...did his feelings get hurt.....i know 10 zillion guys that talk junk on the floor all night and day...sometimes it is funny, sometimes it is dumb....but you let it go, or you say something back, and that is that.   This is like politics now.....

To me, the most interesting thing about all this -- and it seems that no one is touching on it -- is KG's reasoning for saying that Villanueva is a cancer to his team and the league. I don't know what that reasoning is, but I'd like to, because even though V. doesn't play much D, he's a skilled offensive player, and I've never heard of him being a headcase or a troublemaker, so why is he a cancer?

As much as I hate the Celtics, I agree.

Lakers and Celtics deserve a rematch.  No other teams deserve the honor.

As a Cancer Survivor I have said and done worse that that in a basketball game. For the record several players heard KG say
exactly what he said he said? My bigger question is why are we letting this PC crap influence the conduct of the game? And for me CV is a Cancer in the League. Too many NBA players just collect a check and don't give their teams a full effort to earn it! Why didn't he confront KG on the court? And why did he have to Tweet about it on the net? Makes you wonder? When Isiah and Rodman called that "If Bird was a Black Player he would be just an average Player" Politically Correct??? Larry just put up "Forty" on them in the next game. I can't wait to see what KG and CV do in their next game?

I'm betting KG does another Forty and CV has a Migraine that night!
