I'll take having two of the best three point shooters in the NBA wide open. Especially when the lay up wasn't available.
I'll take the 3 too -- but not as a first option. When this team gets a lead they stop being aggressive and shoot 3's. As a result, they haven't been able stretch leads -- which I think is key for a team that needs to rest its older players.
Those threes were generated by Rondo aggressively attacking the paint and forcing the Pistons to collapse. I'm okay with that as long as he's not passing up lay ups.
Now Pierce/Ray don't run the break as hard as I like at times, instead they run to the line. But in that sequence I didn't see that.
I loved Rondo yelling at the bigs to run the floor before he got the ball to Pierce for the transition lay in.
