I hope it's not bad because Jermaine has given us absolutely nothing.  We really need Shaq's 20 solid minutes a night.

Anyone else notice how well Shelden Williams is playing for Denver?  He's had two huge rebounding games.  He's giving them a lot more than JO is giving us for a fraction of the price.

Yeah, too bad Shelden is not a quarter of the player that Jermaine is. Again, it's ONLY 3 games!

I don't want KG in the low 30's, especially in situations when we have back to back games or 3 games in 4 nights. I rather keep him in the high 20's. He's at 31 MPG now, but I think that's an aberration due to the 35 minutes he played on opening night in a game we badly wanted. Since then he's played 29 minutes each in the other two games. IMO, that's perfect.

I really do want Baby to keep getting major minutes. In fact, I think he should be the big that gets the most minutes. He's playing well and has the young legs to handle the load.

I do like Edren and I hope that the fact that he hasn't played has more to do with his shoulder injury and not because Doc just doesn't trust him. He should be receiving minutes and if he shows the same type of improvements he showed from Summer League to FIBA to pre-season then, with some PT, he could be a very nice player.

Don't think Luke should get any PT unless it's a blowout type of situation. He belongs in the NBDL to develop.

I agree with KG not being in the low 30's if possible. This is where the 10+ mpg from JO would be most helpful. If he cant give it to us, this is where Erden and Luke occaisionaly giving 5 mpg each would prove valuable. Not sure I agree that BBD is ready for a 'major' minutes role every nite, but 30 is reasonable.

I agree with the idea of Semih being a little sore as to why he isnt playing. I think that Erden being still on the bench is also due to him not really knowing our system as well as Doc would like. He said the same about Shaq and JO with regard to their lack of 4th quarter minutes as well.

hope its nothing bad, i mean he got an MRI scan showing nothing, its just a bruise hopefully and he has 3 days to rest before Tuesday game against the Pistons

I say rest Shaq up for the major games

Also if i was Doc id tell JO to rest up...maybe 10-15 more games. If JO was really playing hurt when he was with Miami, then that does affect his effectiveness on court.

I want JO fresh and at least 80-90% before hitting the court again. If he rush things who knows he might be out for the season or give us crap minutes

As long its not serious, team will be fine. Semih-Automatic is locked and loaded to help the Celtics. And Luke outside shooting could come in handy at some point.

Get Well ShaQ

Yeah, I'd like to see them both as well, especially Semih. Give em' a shot, can't hurt much. That's how they'll learn the ropes.

I think if the celts have to depend on seih and Luke in games it would hurt a lot.

I'd be willing to bet that Semih wouldn't disappoint. Don't forget that this man just played against Team USA in the Championship game, with 9 pts and 5 boards - plus a decent defensive stop on Kevin Durant on one sequence.

He may be our 5th big, but he has some experience already.

DET is a very undersized team.  Best to rest Shaq for Bogut and Noah later this week.  I think Doc said before the season Shaq would sit out some back to backs.  So might as well save him for MIL instead of DET.

I really think Shaq has a secret agreement
with Danny and Doc that he can sit some games out.
He's playing for the minimum
I mean he's a legend.
Shaqueeta partied too much to play, hungover.

I think it is actually a public agreement, since Doc has already said the older guys will get rested.

Erden might foul out quickly. Then again, JO and Shaq have been doing the same.

exactly. At the rate that our big men having been fouling, we need all three of them to be active each game just so that we have one of them remaining at the end of the game
