Not that I would want to fix the Heat, b/c watching them struggle and get torn apart last night was euphoric for me, I know what would have been better

Not Bosh, but Stoudamire. And it might not be TOO late to do that. Wait till December and call up NYC and package Bosh and Mike Miller for Stoudamire and Wilson Chandler. Sign Dampier and maybe even talk Rafer Alston out of China. Then they'd be sick and effecient.
Can't stop, Rondo!

No Bosh = No Wade or LeBron.

Bosh was the first domino to fall. He gave Wade the reason he needed to stay and that duo gave LeBron the reason he needed to join.

I think if they want to maximize their return and be as good of a team as possible, Miami should trade Wade.  Lebron is too good offensively to not run an offense and Wade doesn't compliment him well enough.

Last night I discussed Miami trading Wade for Billups, JR Smith, and a first round pick.  I think they'd be getting far less in return for what they are trading away, but I'd argue that they'd be a better team this season.  Unfortunately, Chauncey only has a few great years left in him while Wade has many.

I think Paul, Ariza, plus something for Wade and Arroyo would be a great trade for Miami.

Keep all three.

Sign Dampier to get some size.  Start House at PG and let Lebron run the offense.

House was repeatedly abused on defense by Rondo for buckets in that game. I just don't have faith that he can repeat his first two years in Boston at his age.

I think they need to see if Chalmers can give them what they need as soon as his ankle his healthy.
Just to be clear, I believe the buckets you mention refer to assists.

Rondo went 2-9, and I remember the first bucket as our first points while Eddie was on the bench. So at worst, Eddie couldn't stop Rondo from breaking down the defense.

They were assists or open looks instead of scores by Rondo, with one exception.

The C's had all four other C's stand in a rough line on the other side of the court and forced the Heat to give Eddie some help, then Rondo swung the ball for good shots.

Every team doesn't have Rondo, but plenty of teams have PGs who can tear up Eddie.

I think Chauncey is pretty cooked at this point he just can't do the sort of things he has to remain effective. He'd be very effective for the Heat, but he's not Wade.

Besides Chauncey isn't exactly the sort of unselfish passer you seem to think LeBron needs at the point.

Lebron, Wade, Bosh and role players for KG, Pierce, Ray, Rondo and role players. That would improve them.

They would be scarier with a true point guard.  Wade and LeBron combined for 14 turnovers last night.  They both dribble dribble ad nauseum.  They also need some low post offense and presence.  Bosh can board but he doesn't like to play inside and is more of jumpshooter.

They are a bunch of nice pieces but I don't think they fit well together and have substantial issues.  I think they are the third best team in the East not the top unlike some others.

Their coach is a joke too.  How long before Riles fires him to take over?

I wouldn't trade a bucket of spit for LeBron.  He is not the team player everyone thinks he is in reality.
