Ok - over the last few weeks, I've pined for Dwight, KLove, and Big Al for future bigs for Boston.

How could I leave DeAndre Jordan off my list?? Guy is solid, indeed. I like his mentality and toughness. He's raw offensively, but he already seems to have most of the tools to play defense and he plays it well.

Danny: I want D12, Big Al, DeAndre or KLove for Christmas - in Green.

They deserved this game. Kobe elbowed Garcia right in the face like he did Bibby and they called a foul on Garcia. Ridiculous.

They did that again for Kobe. I remember that and remember Bibby getting the foul when Kobe elbowed him. That was probably for the 100,000 fine they gave him.

Enjoy it now, Kobe.

LA's thin right now, and will be for at least a game or two vs NOH. Even though they'll more than likely get by NOH, it won't be easy.

Their playoff bracket (if I'm not mistaken) means they'll have to face Spurs in 2nd round, then potentially another Kobe headlock err - matchup - vs OKC.

I think LA's path to losing to Boston in June of this year just got tougher with their win tonight.

EDIT: - Disregard. I misread the brackets.

Those Fakers (yep - first time I've called them that), actually have an EASIER path to losing to Boston. They will play Portland in the 2nd round, which they will more than likely win. I like Portland, and GWallace will help them, but I still see LA winning this.

Goran Dragic with a triple double last night - 11 points, 11 assists and 11 boards.

Since joining the Rockets, Dragic has been averaging 7.7ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.5apg in 17.7 minutes per contest (16/5/5 per 36) on 47% FG% while shooting a blistering 51% from behind the arc. With plus defense.

Nice recovery after struggling (offensively) for most of the season with Phoenix. Dragic is a very nice player. I hope he gets the opportunity to start somewhere in the next year or two.

My guess is Morey acquired him for a reason and intends to keep him as a quality backup to Kyle Lowry.  Lowry is a solid talent himself, but not good enough to play more than 30-32 minutes a night, so using him in tandem with Dragic makes sense.

Looking at the box scores from last night,

Miami beat Toronto 97-79 without LeBron, Wade or Bosh playing. No Mike Miller either and Udonis Haslem is still out. So none of their five best players. Eddie House went for 35 points, Magloire pulled down 19 rebounds and Chalmers handed out 13 assists. Nice showing from the Heat's weak supporting cast.

As for the Raptors, they should be ashamed of themselves. Not just being beaten but trounced by Miami's bench. They were missing a few guys themselves but still ... look at that Miami team. Shameful way to end the year.

Yeah, I think Morey will keep him around for next season but Dragic's contract is up after that and he'll be an unrestricted free agent at that point. So hopefully he takes advantage of that opportunity.

phili has no chance of wining a game in this series, we really did miami a favor by handing them the 2 seed.
